Rakemori is a private, invite-only catalog for CDs, cassettes, vinyl records, and books, available as a web app and as mobile apps for iOS and Android. Accounts are created by an administrator for people they know — there is no public sign-up.
Your account is created by an administrator, who assigns your username and initial password. You're responsible for keeping your password secure. You may optionally link a Google or Apple account to sign in with that provider instead — this only works once the account has been linked to your existing Rakemori account from Settings; Rakemori never creates a new account automatically from a third-party sign-in. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile.
Use Rakemori for its intended purpose: cataloging your own physical media collection. Don't attempt to access another user's library without permission, circumvent access controls, or use the service for anything unlawful.
You retain ownership of everything you add to your catalog — titles, notes, photos, and borrow records. You're solely responsible for the accuracy of that content, including any personal information you enter about people you lend items to (see the Privacy Policy for what that involves).
Rakemori looks up cover art and details from Discogs, Open Library, and Google Books when you add an item. Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, when you choose to use them, are provided by Google and Apple respectively. Use of these services is subject to their own respective terms.
Rakemori is a personal project provided as-is, without warranty of uptime or availability. Features may change, and access may be suspended at the administrator's discretion.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Rakemori after a change means you accept the updated terms.
